Not to get all melancholy, but sometimes you just miss things.....Jen and I are working on putting Hutch to sleep in his own bed, and it's going nicely. But of course, we're having to sleep upstairs so we are nearby when he wakes up (NEVER go with a master on main unless you're in a wheelchair or are likely to be).
So Hutch is in his bed, and Ruf's bed is downstairs. So he's taking the opportunity to sleep in bed with us. It's not a problem, but........that was Bailey's job. Ruf would either sleep at the foot of the bed or in his own little bed, and Bailey would sneak under the comforter and curl up deep in the middle of the bed. Or right behind the crook of your knee. And now Ruf's trying that.........just doesn't work.....
Bailey was a good dog.

We miss him too. He was a cutie!
As much as we tried to blame some of the shedded black hair on Ruf, I think it was all Bailey. I didn't have any to vacuum up after this visit.
Hopefully, Bailey and Alex are happily playing together in "doggie heaven".
Well, if they aren't running around and playing, at least Alex is still probably trying to hump him!
What an excellent dog. I'm glad we got to spend the time with him that we did.
