Recent pictures!!

Pepaw visited for the first time since Hutch was just a teeny baby. Here they are looking at the GIANT atlas he brought to give to the kiddos. They had a good time looking at all the amazing places there are to visit in the world.

I bought the Hipstamatic app on my phone and have had a blast playing with the different films, lenses, and flashes. All the pictures in this post were taken using Hipstamatic. I particularly love the one of Hutch in the tub. The colors turned out so vivid - look at those lips!! I also love Maggie's blue eyes in the one I took of her.

Apple Farm and Moutain Drive

We took a lovely fall drive to the apple farm on Saturday. Hutch enjoyed the big slide and apple slingshot. We also took a hayride before heading through the mini corn maze. Hutch was a fabulous maze navigator as well as corn photographer (I've omitted those pictures, all 26 of them!) We then headed up to Brasstown Bald, the highest mountain in Georgia.

The Face

So this is the face (actually this is a close copy, the original had much more glare and crinkled nose) Maggie unleashed on me at Target last Saturday when I wouldn't allow her to "push" the cart while I was carrying her. Imagine a Superman type hold with her arms locked out in front gripping the cart with white knuckles. I passed the cart to mom and Maggie shot me the evil eye with puckered lips!

Out of the 319 pictures taken in 10 minues on the deck this afternoon, this is the ONLY ONE where both kids are looking at the camera at the SAME time.

We'll miss you

Granny Markham was always the "fun Granny". I liked visiting her because she was permissive and cackled alot like the witch in Bugs Bunny. This is from our visit over spring break.
